The City of Baytown seeks competitive bids for large meter testing and repair of Neptune meters for utilities. The purpose of these specifications is to describe the minimum requirements of the City of Baytown for the annual large meter testing and repair of Neptune meters contract. The quantities on this Invitation to Bid are estimates. These estimates are for acquainting the bidder with probable quantities to be expected during the contract period. These estimates are not intended to set forth minimum or maximum quantities of this contract and shall not be construed as such. This contract is intended for routine and continuous usage. For large projects that occur, the City of Baytown reserves the right to go out for bids. The City of Baytown anticipates the following meter testing quantity: o 1.5" meters - 304 meters o 2" meters- 339 meters o 3" meters - 100 meters o 4" meters - 52 meters o 6" meters - 25 meters o 8" meters - 21 meters o 10" meters - 17 meters o 16" meter - 1 mag meter The City of Baytown estimates the repair of 120 (one hundred twenty) meters.
