The Project is generally described as: The removal and replacement of the existing double door located in the elevator lobby of the second floor of the Administration Building, Human Resources Department of the San Francisco Unified School District. Work shall involve (a) the removal of the existing double doors including all associated hardware and door frames and the partial demolition of the ceiling if needed, (b) installation of the new single wood door and fixed window complete with hollow metal frames and associated door hardware, (c) installation of the Aiphone system with all required equipment and devices, wirings, conduits, master control station, etc., (d) construction of required walls, wall base, and finishes, (e) and reconstruction of the affected existing ceiling and walls adjacent to the new work. Performance and Payment Bonds, each equivalent to 100% of the Contract Price, will be required upon award of Contract from the Contractor as part of the terms of the Contract for this project.
