Renovation of a conference / convention center in Daytona Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
The purpose of this RSQ is to select one (1) firm to provide professional construction management/general contractor services for the Ocean Center Restroom ADA and Energy Conservation Measure Project. The intent of the project is to bring the restrooms identified in this scope up to the same level of construction materials and finishes as the newer restrooms in the Ocean Center designed in 2008. Question Submission Deadline:February 29, 2024, 11:59pm Questions and exceptions concerning any Section of this RSQ shall be directed through the question and answer section of the County's eProcurement Portal. The purpose of this request for statement of qualifications (RSQ) is to select the most highly qualified firm(s) to provide the requested services. It is anticipated that multiple firm will be awarded a basic contract to provide the necessary services for a period ofthree (3) years or project completion, whichever is longer, may be allowable exercisable at the option of the County and as approved by the Volusia County Council and mutually agreed upon. The purpose of this RSQ is to select one (1) firm to provide professional construction management/general contractor services for the Ocean Center Restroom ADA and Energy Conservation Measure Project. The intent of the project is to bring the restrooms identified in this scope up to the same level of construction materials and finishes as the newer restrooms in the Ocean Center designed in 2008. The scope will include, at a minimum, the following items: Demolition of all existing finishes (wall & floor), toilet partitions, plumbing fixtures, vanities, ceilings, light fixtures, mechanical devices, etc. Revise plumbing rough ins based on any ADA reconfigurations. Install all new plumbing fixtures. Prepare existing walls and floors for new ceramic tile finishes. Rough-in ceilings for new lights, mechanical devices, fire sprinklers, and fire alarm devices Provide new moisture resistant gypsum wall board ceilings (painted) Provide new ceramic tile on floors and walls. Provide new toilet partitions. Provide new vanities. Project estimate: $1 million for Construction. Project Contact Shaira D.
