**As of April 4,2024 project was awarded to Cannon Builders Inc, awarded amount is $2,411,710.45.** This project shall consist of the Contractor furnishing all tools, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to remove part of the existing bridge, including portions of the decking and 4 girders, install 4 new 110' long prestressed bulb tee girders, 440 LF of pedestrian/bicycle railing, 235 CY of Class 40AF Concrete, 27,900 SF of epoxy overlay, 12 bridge deck drains, 8 bridge bearings, and any additional items specifically defined in the Bid Documents. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Idaho Falls as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Idaho Falls reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Idaho Falls All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
