Firm must be capable of providing at least $5,000,000 in general liability insurance, $1,000,000 in automobile insurance, and must also provide evidence of ability to bond up to $2,000,000. The County may reject any and all Statements of Qualifications. The County may waive any informality or technicality in any submittal received, if the County believes it would serve the best interest of the County. Remodel of the Main Floor of the 1975 Two-Story Addition to the Original 1939 Courthouse Services: Jerome County, Idaho (County) is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified professional construction companies interested in providing services for remodeling of the main floor of the 1975 two-story addition to the original 1939 Jerome County Courthouse. Initially containing the old jail and the sheriff offices, this approximately 4,500 square foot area was recently been gutted by the County The scope of the remodel will include the following uses: with work consisting of the creation of DMV offices and public counter, Treasurer s offices and public counter, Data center room and IT offices, ADA compliant restrooms, modify the building exterior to bring daylight and views into the new office spaces, Entry Lobby to remodeled space at East entrance, and a New Mechanical Room at Basement Level. A single contractor/firm will be selected to provide construction manager/general contractor services. Project Scope: 1. The County has hired EDA Architects to provide architectural and engineering services. The Contractor shall coordinate with EDA, through all phases of the project. 2. Coordination of existing building systems with new building systems and maintaining the buildings operation throughout the construction phase will be required. 3. Coordination with the county IT Department and their Data Consultant will be required. 4. Coordination with the county facilities manager for daily operations will be required. 5. Demolition the county has completed most of the demolition in the existing space. However, there will be some demolition required for new construction to occur on the main level, basement level and with the generator change over. 6. New buildout includes, but is not limited to: a. New framing & wall finishes b. New Millwork c. New Flooring d. New Ceilings e. New Lighting f. New HVAC Systems g. New Plumbing fixtures h. New Life Safety Systems i. New Interior Glazing j. New Exterior Glazing k. New Doors l. New Security Systems m. New Data Systems n. New Generator Installation and tie-in o. New Fire Alarm System (Throughout Entire Building) p. New Egress Lighting (Throughout Entire Building) These are the minimum requirements for the Contractor.
