New construction of an educational facility in Bassett, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the construction of a 8,000-square-foot educational facility.
Project consists of the Construction and Renovation of 8,000 total sf to the North side of the school. Consisting of an FCS Classroom, Science Classroom, Concessions, Office space, and Restrooms. Question Deadline 02/16/2024 Clarifications requested by bidders must be in writing not less than four (4) days before date set for receipt of bids. roject consists of an approximate 2,200 SF addition to the north of the current building with approximately 8,000 SF of heavy remodel on the interior of the same area. The 3 existing classrooms will be renovated into 2 classrooms, a common area with concession stand, & an administrative area. 7 single use Toilets will replace the existing Boys and Girls Restrooms and a new secure entry will be adjacent to the new Administrative area. Building construction will be steel columns and beam will metal stud infill and brick veneer. A low slope membrane roof will be placed over the addition and a new metal frame with vertical metal panel canopy will define the entry. One of the classrooms will be an updated Science Lab with new snorkel type ventilation and the other classroom will be an updated FCS room with a pair of kitchen labs. Lastly, a new Kitchenette will be provided to help facilitate the school based businesses that are currently in place.
