Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Bassett, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
**As of June 03, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on June 17th, 2025.** Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) intends to procure the supply and erection of a thirty feet (30') x forty feet (40') metal framed building including all necessary site work, on the DISTRICT'S property. pre bid meeting notes: The purpose of the meeting will be to review the Contract specifications and to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract requirements. It is the Bidder's responsibility, while participating in the meeting, to ask any questions necessary to submit a bid that is complete and responsive. It is highly encouraged that all prospective Bidders participate in this meeting. If you plan to participate, information to join the meeting can be found on the ProcureWare website online. Before submitting a bid, the Bidders shall carefully examine any drawings, read the specifications, shall visit the site ofthe work ifsite conditions affect the bid price; and shall fully inform themselves as to all existing conditions and limitations. Any information provided to Bidders by the DISTRICT regarding site conditions and limitations are for general information only and shall not be relied upon by Bidders as a representation of existing conditions or limitations. Bidders shall include in the bid a sum to cover the cost of all items included in the Contract. Making a bid creates a conclusive presumption that these things have been done. It is important that the Bidder reads the Contract Document thoroughly and understands the scope of work, the Contract schedule, and all the Contract requirements prior to completing the pricing information. The Bidder should contact the Procurement Specialist listed in paragraph A of this SECTION A, with any questions about completing these Contract Documents. Should a Bidder find discrepancies in, or omissions from, the specification or other Contract Documents, or should they be in doubt as to their meaning, they shall, at once, so notify the DISTRICT in writing. If the point in question is not clearly and fully set forth, a written addendum or bulletin of instructions will be posted to the DISTRICT'S ProcureWare site. Each person requesting an interpretation will be responsible for the delivery of their request to the DISTRICT. The DISTRICT will not be bound by, or responsible for, any other explanations or interpretations of the Contract Documents than those given in writing as set forth in this paragraph. Oral instructions, interpretations, or representations shall not be binding upon the DISTRICT. This document is a RFB for the above-mentioned services. Should the Bidder have questions concerning the documents, they shall direct their questions to Greg Trofholz, Procurement Specialist, at 402-563-5404, or by e-mail at gatrofh @nppd.com.
