The work consists of the construction of approximately 1,009 LF of standard curb and gutter along the northern and eastern portions of Kovacevich Park per City standards, 36,000 SF of new pavement, 12,500 SF of sidewalk, 1,500 LF of pipe, fittings, valves, and backflow preventer for a new water system, a new irrigation system for 87,000 SF of new turf and landscaping, the demolition of old concrete, pavement, and site amenities, and the installation of new playground equipment, picnic area equipment, lighting, and other miscellaneous site furniture and signs. General improvements will include clearing, grubbing, demolition, construction of curb, gutter, sidewalk, ADA compliant curb ramp, on-site walks, paving of the roadway at the north and east portions of the park, installation of water and irrigation systems, electrical for new baseball field lighting, installation of playground equipment and play surfaces, bathroom fixtures, ADA bleachers, shade structures, BBQs, picnic tables, fountains, and signage for funding sources and ADA signs, and striping for new parking.
