The project is expected to be awarded maybe this coming Monday night.** Edgerton Library Gable Roof Replacement - The City of Edgerton, Wisconsin is soliciting bids from Contractors interested in removing and replacing the gable roofs at the City Library. The project consists of the removal of approximately 6,500 square feet of existing roofing materials, including asphalt shingles, underlayment's, roof edgings, flashings, accessories and related components. Contractor shall inspect the roof deck for damage and proper ventilation and notify the owner of any damage or deterioration. Upon inspection, related repair of the roof deck and proper ventilation confirmation, the contractor shall install ice and water surface treatment three feet each side of valleys and three feet upwards from warm edge of exterior wall at perimeter; install 30 pound underlayment throughout roof; install all new roof edge, flashings, accessories and related components with matching lot number architectural composite shingles and related accessories with minimum 50 year commercial warranty and 10 year full replacement coverage by CertainTeed, Owens Corning, GAF or equivalent manufacturer. Contractor shall be a manufacturer certified installer and shall complete all warranty submittals and provide owner with factory warranty. Installer shall protect facility against moisture intrusion during project and repair any and all damage related to the project. Re-roofing of City of Edgerton Library. The roof replacement work can begin after award anticipated to be March 4, 2024 and must be completed no later than May 15th, 2024.
