The School Board of Surry County, Virginia is soliciting bids for construction of Security Vestibule Modifications for Luther P Jackson Middle School, Dendron, VA. Question Deadline 02/26/2024 Bidders must use the Pre-bid Question Form contained in the specifications. No questions or other inquiry within seven (7) days of the date fixed for submission will be given consideration. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or cashier's or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to the School Board of King William County, Virginia. Install mounting bracket and tv so that edge of tv is 2-1/2" clear of existing door frame and top of tv is 4" below existing ceiling. remove Portion of existing wall, as required, and install solid wood blocking for mounting of existing bracket. repair and finish new work to match existing, adjacent undamaged construction and materials. Provide floor mounted door stop to prevent door from hitting relocated tv when door is in fully opened position. Provide kick plate on vestibule side of door to match size and material of existing reception door kick plate. Existing vinyl base to remain. seal cut edges where portion of existing base is removed due to new construction. Repaint entire vestibule ceiling. repair and finish existing vestibule ceiling to match existing, adjacent undamaged construction and materials. Install new ceiling grid wall angle and reinstall previously removed ceiling panels. Provide new surface mounted power outlet and conduit. coordinate with elec. drawings.
