The construction phase of this project shall include a minimum 20% minority or female business enterprise participation of total construction cost. All submittals for this invitation to bid must include a statement acknowledging compliance with 20% MFBE requirement at time for submittal of sealed bids. Upon submittal of sealed bids, pre-qualified contractors will be required to provide proof of MFBE certification (if the general/prime contractor is a certified MFBE) or provide a list of MFBE sub-contractors, identify percentage of participation by each subcontractor and proof of minority or female owned business certification for proof of compliance with this section requirement.
