Renovation of a conference / convention center in College Park, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
Qualified, licensed and insured contractors to provide rehabilitation services to one (1) Trane Chiller located at the Georgia International Convention Center (GICC). The Proposer shall include in its proposal a thorough assessment of the existing systems for the purposes of completing a rehabilitation of one Trane Chiller located at the Georgia International Convention Center (GICC). 1. Remove existing refrigerant per EPA regulations. 2. Dismantling centrifugal compressor of existing unit. 3. Inspection and verification of the inlet guide vane assembly, motor shaft, labyrinth seals, and the impellers according to Trane specifications. 4. Verification and adjustment of the controls and measuring devices 5. Inspection of overload controls, contractors, wiring and other starter components 6. Cleaning and inspection of the lubrication system including the oil pump, regulator, filters, heating elements, and sump 7. Cleaning and inspection of economizer and replacement of the flanges to modern style 8. Installation of new Trane compressor motor bearings 9. Reassembly of the centrifugal compressor, auxiliary vapor and liquid lines, and sight glasses with all new Trane gaskets and installation of motor terminal board gaskets 10. Replace relief valve carbon disk and gaskets 11. Chiller evacuation and leak testing according to Trane specifications 12. Recharge with refrigerant and add additional as needed. 13. Start-up and operation check by certified Trane technician 14. Verification of operating parameters and adjustment of the chiller as per its original specifications 15. One (1) year parts and warranty 90-day labor warranty 16. Perform vibration analysis as a base line at chiller start-up 17. Replace oil pump and motor Question Deadline: 02/27/2024 at 12:00 PM ET, Question, Answer and Clarification Deadline (Email wmoody@collegeparkga.com) Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, when required, on a surety company's standard bid bond form acceptable to the City in an amount no less than 5% of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and/or payment bond, on or before the issuance of Notice to Proceed, each for 100% of the Contract Amount. All minority, woman owned, and small business owners are strongly encouraged to submit a proposal for this solicitation. The contract will be awarded to the most responsive offeror, not always the lowest cost, that are determined to meet the requirements and criteria set forth within the solicitation The City of College Park reserves the right to reject any or all bids based on past performance and to waive technicalities and informalities and re-advertise.
