The City of Midlothian, is seeking bids from interested parties to provide Conference Center Replacement of Emergency Fire Alarm. The City of Midlothian reserves the right to accept or reject any or all packages and to waive formalities or irregularities in the proposal process. To schedule an appointment, contact Diana Younts at 972-775-7125 o Silent Knight Emergency Voice Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP), or equivalent FACP, all other equipment and installation shall be addressable, non-proprietary and comply with 2018 International Fire Code, as amended, and NFPA 72 - 2018. o Replacement of all existing equipment and notification/initiation devices to include: o FACP, occupant notification devices, smoke detectors, duct detectors, heat detector, pull stations, amplifiers, relay modules, monitor modules, dual-path cellular communicator, backup batteries and any other devices/equipment not noted o Existing wiring may be used if in good condition. o Bid shall include system installation, programming, inspections, any City fees, and equipment rental fees (lifts, ladders, etc.). o Plans shall have third-party review by an MFD approved fire protection engineer prior to submittal. o System shall have final approval from the Fire Marshal's Office when complete.
