Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Glenview, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Sequoia Trail And Lincoln Street Improvements. Contractor must submit to the Village a current Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Illinois Department of Transportation for Work Category 012 (Drainage) prior to obtaining bidding documents for this project. Bid Bond 5% 3,930 feet of HMA pavement rehabilitation, water main installation, miscellaneous sanitary sewer repairs, 2,992 feet of storm sewer installation, concrete curb & gutter, driveway replacement, box culvert installation, Storm Brixx storm water system installation (Lincoln Street Alley), parkway restoration and miscellaneous items of work. Failure to complete the work will result in liquidated damages as specified in Section 108 of the Standard Specifications. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in BLRS Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals. The Village of Glenview reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bid procedures and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the Village.
