January 8, 2024 Last day to submit questions and requests for clarification Scope of work will include the order, delivery and installation of outdoor dining barrier covers and wheelchair accessible ramps as referenced in the pricing table and the attached bid specification documents. Offers may not be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after closing date without the consent of the Board of Trustees. Any Bid submitted unsigned, via mail, via in person delivery, via fax, via email or received after the aforementioned date and time, may be disqualified and returned to the bidder. The Village of Glenview reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bid procedures and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the Village. Each bidder shall submit a Bid Bond to serve as a guarantee that the bidders shall enter into a contract with the Village to perform the work identified herein, at the price bid. As soon as the bid prices have been compared, the Village will return the bonds of all except the three lowest responsible bidders. When the Agreement is executed the bonds of the two remaining unsuccessful bidders will be returned. The bid bond of the successful bidder will be retained until the payment bond and performance bond have been executed and approved, after which it will be returned. Any bid not complying with the Security requirement may be rejected as non-responsive. 100% performance and payment bonds in the amount awarded by the respective governmental unit. The bidder to which the contract is awarded (including subcontractors), prior to commencing any work, must have a valid Contractor's License or other required license on-file with the Village.
