As of January 3, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. HMA pavement reconstruction, approximately 2491 LF of water main installation, approximately 2708 LF of storm sewer installation, miscellaneous sanitary sewer improvements, concrete curb and gutter construction, sidewalk replacement/construction, driveway replacement, and parkway restoration. Contractor must submit to the Village a current Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Illinois Department of Transportation for Work Category 012 (Drainage) prior to obtaining bidding documents for this project. Please note: Bid submissions received from firms that do not have a Certificate of Eligibility for the Work Category identified herein will be returned to the bidder unopened. Additionally, Bidders shall refer to the References portion of the Standard Terms and Conditions. Bids may be rejected if Bidder does not have a minimum of three (3) years' experience completing municipal water main construction with contract values of $1 million or larger. Bid Bond - 5% A scanned copy of the bid bond must be included in the pdf file submission. The original bid bond must be mailed to the Village Hall, 2500 East Lake Avenue, Glenview, IL 60026 attention Crystal Haben. The Village recommends using certified or priority mail options in order to have a tracking number. All work under this contract shall comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Act of the State of Illinois, 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq. and Employment of Illinois Works on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570/0.01 et seq.). Offers may not be withdrawn for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days after closing date without the consent of the Board of Trustees. Any Bid submitted unsigned, via mail, via in person delivery, via fax, via email or received subsequent to the aforementioned date and time, may be disqualified and returned to the bidder. The Village of Glenview reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bid procedures and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the Village. The undersigned agrees to complete the work by: August 23, 2024 (Sumac-Cedarwood): July 19, 2024 (Hawthorne); May 17, 2024(Bellwood); unless additional time is granted in accordance with the specifications. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in BLRS Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals.
