Demolition and construction of a working boardwalk and seafood processing structure located near the Charleston Harbor within Shem Creek Project Details: online Questions Due Date: Feb 23th 2024, 12:00 PM EST The Scope of Services shall include, but is not limited to, the physical removal of exiting timber docks piles and supports, and the rebuild of a commercial working shrimp dock and processing facility. This facility is currently leased to a shrimp processing business. The business is to remain in operation throughout construction. To allow for continued use and to ensure operation is uninterrupted, construction is planned in two phases. The first phase is the demolition, removal and rebuild of a portion of existing timber boardwalk. Temporary and permanent water and electrical service lines shall be included in this phase as shown. A temporary access walkway shall be designed by the contractor and installed at the end of this phase to provide access from the high ground to the newly constructed shrimping boardwalk during phase 2 construction.
