Bid for the removal and replacement of a canal crossing pressurized Irrigation line. The pipes that need to be replaced are at two location one on the Utah Salt Lake Canal and one on the Utah Lake Canal. The City would like to do both crossing; however the City reserves the right to only award one crossing, depending on the budget. Because of that price each location separately. Work at each location includes the following: 13035 South 2280 West (Utah Salt Lake Canal) 1 Remove and properly dispose of existing pipe. Install an 8" epoxy coated and lined fabricated steel loop - across canal - up to 45' from flange to flange. Price must include excavation, compaction, haul away of spoils and surface restoration. Fabricated Loop will need to be a 2 piece design to allow for the installation of an 8" flanged Cla-Val pressure relief valve and will need to include (4) fabricated 45 bends, and (1) 2" thread-o-let to allow for the installation of the Waterman Air Vent. 13400 South 3200 West (Utah Lake Canal) Remove and properly dispose of existing pipe. Install an 8" epoxy coated and Lined fabricated steel loop - across canal - up to 34' from flange to flange. Price must include excavation, compaction, haul away of spoils, installation of (4) bollards and surface restoration. Fabricated Loop will need to include (4) fabricated 45 bends, and (1) 2" thread-o-let to allow for the installation of the Waterman Air Vent Optional price at this canal location to install a 6" drive approach, if needed due to possible breakage, due to the location of the work, 150 SqFt.
