This project will construct a new maintenance facility within Lebanon Hills Regional Park. The site will be located at the corner of Cliff Road and the Visitor Center Entrance Road. The project will include but is not limited to completion of all earthwork, site circulation, and site utilities; the construction of a maintenance garage and office space; and the construction of a headhouse. The project will include demolition of the existing facility and prepping that location for restoration. Prevailing wages are required on this project. Bids must be submitted only on the bid form. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Dakota County in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond equal to 100% of the total contract amount. Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the opening bids. It is anticipated that the Dakota County Board of Commissioners will consider award of the project on April 9, 2024 at its regular meeting, and reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding.
