Project Scope of Work: The Owner is seeking a qualified Contractor with current relevant experience in public school work that involves replacing HVAC equipment at four (4) facilities in the District: Tualatin High School, Tigard High School, Hazelbrook Middle School and Deer Creek Elementary School. Listed as Alternates will be HVAC equipment replacement at four (4) additional facilities in the District: Alberta Rider Elementary School, Charles F, Tigard Elementary School, Metzger Elementary School, and Tualatin Elementary School. In General, the project includes replacing all existing units utilizing R-22 refrigerant with units utilizing R-454b refrigerant. This will include rooftop units, condensing units, and air handler coils. All new equipment will be required to be integrated into the existing control system graphics and sequences. All pneumatic devices associated with replaced equipment will also be replaced with new digital devices. The work at Tualatin High School will also include replacement of all pneumatic control devices currently installed throughout the school. This will include replacing all pneumatic valve and damper actuators with electronic devices and integrating all new control devices into the existing control system graphics and sequences. The Contractor firms, and their sub-tier controls contractor, responding to this RFP will be evaluated based upon Company or Team Qualifications, history/safety, firm experience, staffing qualifications, and any other evaluation criteria identified in this procurement, along with their Proposal. Attention is called to the provisions of the Oregon Statutes, Chapter 279. The bidder must indicate if bidder is a resident bidder as defined in ORS 279A.120 and if the contractor and subcontractors are licensed under ORS 701.005 - 701.055.
