The City of Norwalk is inviting proposals from qualified individuals or firms interested in providing city inspection services for various project sites citywide for an initial term of 3 years, and may extend the Agreement beyond the initial term, for additional one (1) year periods from July 1st to June 30th of each year. It is anticipated for the Inspector to be within the City providing such services 25 - 30 hours a week, Monday through Friday. The City may require changes in the scope of the services to be performed by the Proposer hereunder. All such changes, which are mutually agreed upon by and among all the parties, shall be incorporated in written amendments to professional services agreement . All such amendments shall state any increase or decrease in the amount of the compensation due the Proposer for the change in scope. 1. Responsiveness and thoroughness of proposals.
2. Appropriateness of technical approach. The successful Proposer shall deliver and complete all services described in the Scope of Services and agrees to perform such services in accordance with all terms and conditions of the City's standard Professional Services Agreement ("PSA"). By submitting a Proposal, the Respondent agrees that it will enter into the PSA using the attached form with no exceptions to the form of the PSA. The anticipated contract start date is July 1, 2024. Bid Notes: Proposals must be submitted through the online portal by the due date and time to be eligible for this RFP. Proposals cannot be submitted after the date and time stated above. Mailed, faxed, or hand delivered proposals will NOT be accepted. Question Deadlines: Official responses to questions or requests for interpretation to this solicitation will be posted in the Q&A section of the City of Norwalk PlanetBids online bid portal. Any information resulting from questions that cause a material change in the solicitation will be posted in the Addenda section of the City's online bid portal as an addendum.
