As of April 8th, 2024 - an award is expected to be made at the April 17th Town Board Meeting. Lehigh Station Road Sanitary Sewer Extension - Phase 2. This project consists of furnishing and installing a sanitary sewer system along Lehigh Station Road from 1696 Lehigh Station Road to 1928 Lehigh Station Road. This project will generally consist of furnishing and installing a sanitary sewer system along the north side of Lehigh Station Road connecting to and extending from the Phase 1 installation at the corner of Lehigh Station Road and Aleta Drive including all lawn and asphalt restoration. The Town of Henrietta reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Town of Henrietta requires bids for the Lehigh Station Road Sanitary Sewer Extension Phase 2 Project, to conform with plans and specifications on file in the Town Clerk's Office. A. This project will generally consist of furnishing and installing a sanitary sewer system along Lehigh Station Road from 1696 Lehigh Station Road to 1928 Lehigh Station Road, including all pavement and lawn restoration. B. All existing iron pins for property corners shall be protected during construction. All property corners disturbed by the CONTRACTOR shall be replaced at his expense. C. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for the demolition, removal, and disposal of existing asphalt or excavated materials. The final restoration including pavement grading, topsoil and seeding shall be completed by the CONTRACTOR. D. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for obtaining a dumpsite for disposal of asphalt, demolition debris, and excavated materials. E. It is the responsibility of the CONTRACTOR to call the U.C.C. at 1-800-962-7962 to obtain a utility stakeout before excavation begins. Also contact utilities not included in the U.C.C. F. The CONTRACTOR shall comply with the New York State Industrial Code, Rule 23, Subpart 23-4 "Excavation Operations" to provide safe excavating practices and procedures. G. Notify the Town of Henrietta Highway Department 48 hours before work commences. H. The CONTRACTOR shall maintain and provide one safe passageway for residents or public through the work area at all times. project shall be substantially completed on or before August 23, 2024 including final lawn restoration completed on or before August 30, 2024 Question Deadline 03/01/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to Engineering Department . Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by OWNER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by OWNER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
