Site work for a water / sewer project in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replace approximately 4,000 feet of 16-inch concrete transmission water main along Brewster Road between Walton Blvd and Tienken Road in section 8 of the City. The water main is approximately 50 years old. This project excludes approximately 1,000 feet of 16-inch ductile iron water main between North Powderhorn Ridge Road and Hidden Valley Drive that was replaced in 2009. The water main will be replaced with ductile iron pipe or high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe (depends on installation method). Construction is planned to begin in 2025. This project coordinates with MR-24D. As of November 26, 2024, project is include in the City of Rochester Hill's 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. A firm construction timeline has not been released. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
