The shoreline in the area of Waryas Park has been undermined due to recurring tidal surges and repeated severe weather events. As such, several critical components of the existing shoreline reinforcement need to be fortified and/or replaced. Such items include various sizes and levels of stone along with several sections of concrete. Completion of this project will allow for a more seamless connection to the existing promenade located on either end of the park. Full connectivity is critical and has been incorporated into overall project cost. This project should commence after upgrades to the dock are completed.
