Reference Number 0000341710 REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: The City of Newport Rhode Island, here after referred to as the "City", along with the Housing Authority of the City of Newport, hereafter referred to as "HACN" are seeking requests for proposals "RFP" for a CLC CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER/OWNERS REPRESENTATIVE, hereafter referred to as the "OR" to provide construction management services for the City/HACN. The OR will represent the City/HACN for all construction management aspects of the Community Learning Center (CLC) project funded with ARPA CPF CLC Municipal Grants, as well as other funding sources. The services to be provided include but are not limited to those outlined in Articles 2, and 3 below. PROJECT BUDGET: Project budget is estimated to be $2.9 million dollars. SCHEDULE AND DURATION OF THE ASSIGNMENTS: Work start date will begin with a fully executed contract assigned by all parties, with a Two-year (24) month duration, and up to three, one-year renewal extensions. However, construction for the project must be completed by October 31, 2026. *The City/HACN reserves the right to reject any or all proposals for cause and to waive any informality in the submission process if it is in the public interest to do so.
