Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following Cold milling of existing asphalt pavement Resurfacing of 13 City street locations Sidewalk reconstruction with structural soil at 1 additional City work location Sidewalk improvements Replacement/resetting of granite curbing Installation and repair of existing concrete sidewalks and ADA ramps Striping and sign installation Installation of drainage structures and pipe Tree removal and replacement Maintenance and protection of traffic All related site restoration work. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 5% of Bidder s maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check The successful Bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or Conditional Bids Existing driveway aprons, which abut a road pavement, shall be excavated, removed and then restored with new asphalt or cement concrete. The Contractor shall sawcut, excavate, and remove existing asphalt and cement concrete driveway aprons from a four-inch to eight-inch depth as designated by the Engineer. Such wotk shall be completed to provide a smooth and aesthetic transition from the new road pavement to the existing residential and commercial driveways. Ab work shall be coordinated under the direction of the Engineer. Any questions regarding billing should be directed ro NYSDOL's.
