Reference number : 1807570 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2024-02-26 The work of this project consists of sealing, by means of a sealant, the existing cracks in the asphalt concrete pavements on different streets and in different sectors of the Municipality. The sealing work will be carried out on the streets that will be on the list that the representative of the Municipality will provide to the Successful Bidder. If the maximum budget available to carry out the work is reached before the list is completed, the project will end where the work has already been completed. If the maximum available budget is not reached at the end of the list appearing on the bid form, the Municipality may identify other sites for work so that work can be carried out for the entire available budget, as much as possible. The procedure described above is necessary because of the difficulty of accurately assessing the quantity of cracks existing on each of the streets where the work is planned. The cracks will be sealed by the "no milling" method. The work consists of, but is not limited to: Clean the street with a mechanical broom to remove any debris from the crack and onto the roadway; Clean the groove with a hot dog-type thermal wand to thoroughly clean the walls and dry them without burning them; Apply a bonding binder, if required by the manufacturer of the sealant; Apply a sealant; Spread the biodegradable release paper over the sealant.
