This Contract is for the mulching of approximately 5000 street trees and park trees that are 25cm DBH and under throughout the City of Hamilton. 1. Provide all materials, labour, and equipment for the mulching of trees. The mulch itself will be provided by the City of Hamilton. 2. Mulch and Mulching template(s) will be supplied by the City of Hamilton. 3. Tree guards will be provided by the City of Hamilton. 4. The Successful Bidder shall be responsible for loading and transportation of mulch from the Forestry Operations Centre 1301 Upper Ottawa, Hamilton to the job site. Mulch is available Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. 5. The Successful Bidder shall coordinate all activities with City of Hamilton Forestry staff to complete mulching. 6. The Successful Bidder shall be supplied with a magnetic sign, "City of Hamilton Contractor" that shall be affixed upon all vehicles for identification. If replacement is required, the City will have it made and the Successful Bidder will be billed for it. The City reserves the right to request, prior to the award of the Contract, proof that a Bidder is in compliance with the municipal zoning by-laws within the City of Hamilton regarding the property(ies) at which the Bidder is proposing to: (a) operate its snow removal or landscaping business to provide the services described in this Tender; and (b) store its equipment to be used in providing the services described in this Tender
