The County of Minburn No. 27 invites proposals through this RFP for qualified proponents to complete the 2023 Innisfree Fire Hall Renovation. The work consists of the renovation of an existing cold storage post frame structure to a finished shop. Frame exterior walls of existing post frame structure for installation of insulation. Miscellaneous framing as needed for walls and ceiling. Existing Overhead door hardware may need to be removed and reinstalled to seal behind framing. Supply and Install R20 Batt insulation in walls complete with 6mm poly vapour barrier (or equivalent insulation) R50 blown in attic insulation complete with rafter stops and 6mm poly vapour barrier. (or equivalent insulation) Line walls with 29 ga. White metal sheeting complete with all necessary trims flashing and fasteners. Include optional upgrade to 26 ga. metal sheeting. Line ceiling with 29 ga. White metal sheeting complete with all necessary trims flashing and fasteners. Removal and dispose of portion of existing wall to create two entry ways from existing shop into renovated area. Each entryway will be approximately 6-8 feet in width. Prep and Pour 6” concrete slab interior. Power trowel finished with 10mm rebar 16” @ o/c Doweled into existing concrete under OH doors 6” compacted aggregate under slab 6 mil poly under slab Pad to be sloped to center sump (size and drain to be determined) Control joints cut and rod and caulked. Slab is to be sealed Rough in and finishing of electrical with allowances for wall plugs, ceiling fans, and LED lights. Supply and install and 2 electrical plug ins with 2 retractable cord reels on finished ceiling. Rough in and finishing of heating system. Preferably radiant tube heater. Strip, crib prep and pour new 6” steel reinforced concrete pad 31 feet by 25 on exterior, complete with 10mm rebar @ 16” o/c, doweled to building and brush finish. Including all labour base and pad materials.
