Renovation of a water / sewer project in Red Deer, Alberta. Design plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The project objective is to convert Anoxic Cell 2 into aerobic cell during winter to improve nitrification in cold weather. Work will include installation of: - Tie ins request to connect with the existing aeration system; - Piping; - Diffusers; and - Control and instrumentation system, including air flow control valves, air flow metering devices, and dissolved oxygen sensors. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals from engineering consultants is currently underway. Only the preliminary design scope will be awarded initially. Construction is currently planned for spring 2025. *Budget is unreleased.
