n Accordance With the Plans and Specifications Prepared by the Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mineral Resources Management, Columbus, Ohio. Proposals Will Be Opened in the Second Floor Conference Room of 2045 (Building H-2) of the Fountain Square Offices of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. The Construction Completion Date for This Project is September 13, 2024. The Estimate for This Project as Determined by the Division of Miner- Al Resources Management is $313,035.00. Each Proposal Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Guaranty, Meeting the Requirements of Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Contractors Are Advised That Equal Employment Opportunity Conditions Are Applicable to This Proposal in Accordance With the Provisions of Sec- Tions 153.59 and 125.111 of the Ohio Revised Code. This Project is Subject to a 5% Edge Participation Goal in Accordance With the Provisions of O.r.c. Sec- Tion 123.152 and O.a.c. 123:2-16-08. Davis Bacon Wage Rates Are Applicable to This Contract, the Contractor Agrees to Comply With All Provisions of the Davis Bacon Act as Amended (40 Us.s.c 3141-3148). Contractors Are Further Advised That, if Awarded the Contract, Both the Contractor and Its Subcontractor(S) Shall Perform No Services Request- Ed Under This Contract Outside of the United States in Accordance With Executive Order 2019-12d. No Bidder May Withdraw His Bid Within Sixty (60) Days After the Actual Date of the Opening Thereof. The Director of Natural Resources Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, or to Accept the Bid Which Embraces Such Combination Alternate Proposals as May Promote the Best Interest of the State. **Document Notes: For Information Regarding the Project, the Primary Contact Person is the Project Engineer, Ronald a. The project consists of four (4) separate project sites: The Redtown Reclamation project consists of two (2) separate sites. Site #1 consists of two open mine portals that shall be backfilled with a combination of polyethylene culverts and polyurethane foam fill along with the backfilling of a large adjacent subsidence zone with on-site soils. Other work items include the installation/removal of a stone staging area. Site #2 consists of the closure of an existing stream capture with a combination of concrete and soils along with replacement of existing metal culverts with larger diameter polyethylene culverts and construction of rock channels to reestablish existing waterways. Other work items include installation of a stone staging area, replacement of existing metal driveway culvert with a polyethylene culvert and placement of stone on the existing driveway. The Greens Run Air Shaft project consists of the closure of an existing mine shaft that shall be backfilled with a combination of polyurethane foam fill and onsite soils. A rock channel shall be constructed to divert an existing waterway from the shaft to an nearby stream. Other work items include the installation of a stone staging area and construction of temporary stream crossings to access the mine shaft site and revegetation. The Bluebell Shaft project consists of the closure of an existing mine shaft that shall be backfilled with a combination of polyurethane foam fill and onsite soils. Other work items include the repair of the existing access road with stone (as directed) and revegetation. The Houdek Shaft project consists of the closure of an existing concrete mine shaft that shall be backfilled with a combination of polyurethane foam fill and onsite soils. Other work items include placement of stone on the existing driveway and revegetation.
