Site work and addition to a detention facility in Tampa, Florida. Completed plans call for the addition of a 2,370-square-foot detention facility.
Project Description: There will be a 2 ,370 sf lobby addition to the Falkenburg Road Jail. The scope of work is limited to demolition, sitework, concrete/masonry, structural steel, TPO roofing, stucco, door and hardware, storefront, drywall, acoustical ceilings, polished concrete, painting, signage, aluminum canopy, fire sprinklers, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire alarm and fencing. The Project consists of demolishing the interior components of 28,785 sf of building area as noted in the construction drawings. This Type II-B, unprotected, unsprinkled business occupancy facility will be remodeled on the interior with the major elements being new walls, ceiling, finishes, casework, plumbing, mechanical and electrical components. All exterior elements are to remain and be protected from damage unless otherwise noted in the Contract Documents The proposed project consists of a lobby addition to existing Building No. 15 and includes a minor modification to the existing adjacent parking lot.
