**As of March 28, 2024, the project was awarded to Municipal Pipe Tool Co., LLC of Hudson, Iowa, in the amount of $416,121.20.** Work of this Contract entails construction of Cured-In-Place (CIP) sanitary sewer lining located in the City of Waterloo, identified as Sewer Service Area 12 (SA #12), as shown on the Drawings. The project includes cleaning, root removal, televising, CIP pipelining and lateral grouting of the following quantities: 8-Inch Diameter CIP - 5,101 LF 10-Inch Diameter CIP - 1,585 LF 12-Inch Diameter CIP - 911 LF Laterals - 189 EA The work under the proposed contract shall commence after receipt of Notice to Proceed and at the date submitted by the Contractor at the preconstruction conference and approved by the Engineer. Once work commences, periods of inactivity shall be minimized. All items shall be completed on or before November 30, 2024. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, re-advertise for new bids, and to waive informalities in the bids submitted that might be in the best interest of the City.
