The project work consists of. A new VRF system to provide 33 classrooms with cooling during cooling season and heating during heating season. The VRF system shall use indoor ceiling mounted or vertical units to provide each classroom with heating and cooling. Ventilation in the classroom shall be supplied by the existing central Energy recovery ventilation units ducted to the VRF indoor ceiling units. A few classrooms will have stand alone Energy recovery units. The system shall be controlled using a central controller that will be tied to the existing BMS using BACNET integration. The design shall include all the necessary mechanical and electrical designs, specifications and construction administration that meets state and local codes. B. The work will include all operations necessary to deliver the building a fully installed and operable condition including obtaining all necessary licenses, permits, and certificates.
