Expected award date is sometime early of May 2022** Track and Field Renovation at Mashpee Middle-High School The Town of Mashpee, acting through its Selectboard, the Awarding Authority, is seeking sealed bids for the provision and all designated labor, equipment, and materials for the installation of a multi-purpose synthetic turf field, reconstruction of the existing track, extension of a water service, and other associated improvements at the Mashpee Middle-High School, 500 Old Barnstable Road, Mashpee, MA 02649, This deposit will be refunded for up to two sets for general bidders upon return of the sets in good condition within thirty days of the bid opening. Otherwise plan deposit shall become the property of the Awarding Authority. Additional sets may be purchased for $50. Bidders requesting Contract Documents to be mailed shall include a separate check for $40.00 per set for UPS Ground (or $65.00 per set for UPS overnight), payable to Westongraphics to cover mail handling costs.Bidders must register with Westongraphics in order to receive notification of addenda. The Awarding Authority will not be responsible for notifying bidders that are not registered. Any and all damages that may occur due to packaging, shipping or timely arrival will be the sole responsibility of the bidder. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of a bid bond, issued by a responsible surety company licensed to do business in Massachusetts, or a certified check, or a treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company and made payable to the Owner, in the amount of 5% of the bid price. Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with the latest edition of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149 and Chapter 30B as applicable. The Town of Mashpee reserves the right to reject any bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. All bids will be taken under consideration for award of contract at a later date.
