Question Deadline 02/23/2024 at 2:00 PM ET All questions must be submitted through Ion Wave at online and received by stated time The Contractor is to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and operations necessary to complete repairs and roadway work needed for milling, resurfacing, and selected structural repairs on roadways throughout Cape Coral City (see Exhibit A - FY2023 locations). In addition to other items, as outlined in the specifications and bid documents, the asphalt concrete paving operations may consist, but shall not necessarily be limited to all or part of the following: o All maintenance of traffic. o Notification to public safety departments of work within the right-of-way that would result in detours of emergency vehicles. o Clipping and herbicide for paving preparation. o Scraping material from the edge of the road to establish an even pavement edge and provide drainage from the roadway surface to the adjacent swale drainage system. o Milling of the existing roadway surface. o Leveling of existing roadway surface (if needed). o Roadway excavation, stabilized subgrade, and base to the construction of full-depth pavement. o Adjustment of existing utilities to match new pavement elevations. o Delivery of material to site (hauling). o Application of prime and/or tack coat(s). o Roadway Structural Repairs. o Superpave Type SP-9.5 or SP-12.5 asphalt Overlay. o Replacement of any existing Pavement Marking(s) and/or RPMs. o Street sweeping, as necessary, & final clean-up of the job site and repair of any damage(s) caused by paving activities. o Sod placement and watering. There will be no monthly asphalt or fuel adjustment allowances on this project.
