Description

Site work for a mixed-use development in Santa Clara, California. Completed plans call for site work for a power facility; and road / highway.

**As of April 3, 2024 , this project has not yet been awarded. It is scheduled for an April 9th Council meeting.** DESCRIPTION OF WORK. The purpose of the proposed SVP project is to extend an existing 60 KV overhead transmission line to provide service to a new substation (Stender Way Junction Substation). The substation will be designed and constructed by Others and will be located on the northeast corner of Central Expressway and Stender Way Street, in Santa Clara CA. The transmission line will initially be energized at 60 KV, but has been designed for two 115 kV circuits. The total length of new transmission line is approximately 0.3 miles. The new transmission line includes rebuilding 4 existing transmission spans (which are not currently energized). The transmission conductor is bundled 715 kcmil ACCR "Stilt". Work includes the installation of 5 custom tubular steel monopoles supported on drilled concrete piers, and 2 direct embedded steel poles. Question Deadline 02/19/2024 at 5:00 PM PT
