Renovation of a mixed-use development in Homer, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As bid security, each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond made out to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid amount, subject to the terms and conditions described in the "Instructions To Bidders." The Owner reserves the right to waive any information in, or to reject, any and all bids. No bidder may withdraw his proposal within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Bids must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Attention of Bidders is particularly directed to the requirements of the conditions of employment to be observed and the prevailing hourly wage rates and supplements to be paid under the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and the right to waive any informality in any bid. WAGE RATES AND SUPPLEMENTS A. All Contractors and Subcontractors are required to pay the prevailing hourly wage rates and the prevailing hourly supplements for the Project as determined by the New York State Department of Labor, in accordance with the provisions of Section 220 of the Labor Law of the State of New York. Schedules of the wage rates and supplements are included in the Bidding Documents and form a part of the Contract Documents.
