All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Bid Amount. Both a Performance and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price. Surety companies executing Bonds must appear on the Treasury Departments most current list (Circular 570 as amended) and be authorized to transact business in Georgia. Only Barrow County Bid, Payment and Performance Bond Forms Are Acceptable. OWNER reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject fully or partially any or all bids, to evaluate bids, and to accept any bid which, in its opinion, may be in the best interest of the OWNER. No bid will be rejected without just cause. Project consists of approximately 6,891 LF of 16" and 10 LF of 12" Ductile Iron Pipe, 580 LF of 30" steel casing with jack and bore installation, 65 LF of 30" steel casing with open cut installation, with valves, hydrants, and appurtenances, to complete the work as specified in the Contract Documents.
