Site work for a water / sewer project in Chandler, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: Installation of approximately 6,566 lineal feet of 8-inch SDR 21 PVC water main by open-cut, 304 lineal feet of 6-inch SDR 21 PVC water main by open cut, 520 lineal feet of 8-inch SDR 21 PVC water main by horizontal directional drill, and 200 lineal feet of 6-inch SDR 21 PVC water main by horizontal directional drill. Installation of 9 tapping sleeves and valves, 19 gate valves, 13 fire hydrant assemblies, 9 line stop and cap assemblies, and 58 meter and service relocations. HMA pavement repair, erosion control, restoration, and all other work required to provide a complete project. Bids are requested for a single prime Contract. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bid security, in a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the highest aggregate bid, shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids in whole or in part as specified in the solicitation when it is not in the best interest of the governmental body as determined by the purchasing agency in accordance with IC 5-22-18-2. The Owner also reserves the right to waive irregularities in any Bid, and to accept any Bid, which is deemed most favorable to the Owner. Prospective Bidders may also examine the Bidding Documents at Eastern Engineering Supply, 9901 Allisonville Road, Fishers, IN 46038; the Issuing Office on Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM and Fridays between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM.; and the office of Chandler Utilities, 101 Constitution Ct., Chandler, Indiana 47610 between the hours of 08:00 AM and 03:00 PM. Chandler, IN 47610 nterpretations or clarifications Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
