The proposed project will take place beginning northwest of the intersection of Telephone Road and Sandal Way Drive north to Jenner Road, northeast to Gardner Road, east approximately 1,750 feet and then north approximately 1,380 feet in Warrick County Indiana, southwest of and in the town limits of Chandler. The work consists of the following: 1. Installation of a new sanitary sewer system that includes: a. Approximately 2,145 linear feet of 12" diameter PVC sanitary sewer, b. Ten (10) precast concrete manholes, c. Forty (40) vertical feet of manhole lining, 2. One (1) complete lift station and valve vault, 3. Approximately 8,790 linear feet of 10" diameter PVC sanitary force main installed by horizontal directional drilling 4. Fittings, 5. Five (5) sewage air release / vacuum valves in precast concrete vaults, and 6. Incidental construction activities that will include, but are not limited to, trench excavation, directional drilling, and erosion control. Work shall be constructed under a Unit Price Contract. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on a State Board of Accounts Form 96 (Revised 2013). Each Bid shall be accompanied by the Contractor's Bid Attachment (included with the Contract Specifications) to Form 96, a Financial Statement (completely filled out and signed) and a bid security in the form of an acceptable certified check payable to the Owner or an acceptable Bidder's bond, in an amount of not less than 5% of the total bid price, in accordance with the Contract Specifications. The Contract will be awarded in accordance with the provisions of IC 5-16-13 for Public Works projects awarded after June 30, 2015. Pursuant to IC 5-16-13-7, the provisions of the law are incorporated by reference. The Contractor to whom the work is awarded will be required to furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price and must be in full force and effect throughout the term of the Construction Contract plus a period of twelve (12) months from the date of substantial completion.
