The MILTON HOUSING AUTHORITY, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Road and Sidewalk Reconstruction at State Aided Development: Miller Avenue Apartments (667-1) in Milton, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by ALLEN & MAJOR ASSOCIATES, INC. The Project consists of but not limited to: Remove and reconstruct Miller Ave asphalt roadway. Remove and reconstruct bituminous curbing along Miller Ave. Cleanly sawcut. Erosion control measures. Remove and reconstruct portion of bituminous sidewalk along Miller Ave. Remove and reconstruct portion of bituminous sidewalk on 65 Miller Ave development. Use caution around existing trees and roots. Loam and seed all disturbed areas. The work is estimated to cost $99,000.00. All bidding Requests for Information (RFls) shall be submitted online by 02/21/2024 at 10:00 AM EST for general bids. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.30/39M and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L.c. 149 //26 to 27H inclusive. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates) and made payable to the MILTON HOUSING AUTHORITY. The participation goals for this project shall be 15.3% for minorities and 6.9% for women. Note: A bid deposit is not required for Projects advertised under $50,000.
