Montville Municipal Main Hall Renovation A contract will be awarded to the responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest bid, as set forth in the Contract Documents, the right being reserved by the Township to reject all proposals or any proposal which may be informal or the acceptance of which for any other reasons would be detrimental to the best interests of the Township, and to waive informalities. All bids must be made on the forms furnished by the Township. Bids on any other forms will not be accepted. Bids shall be addressed to the Purchasing Agent, Township Administrator's Office, Township of Montville, 195 Changebridge Road, Montville, NJ 07045. Each Proposal must be enclosed in a SEALED ENVELOPE, properly endorsed with the name of the Bidder, with the designation "TOWNSHIP OF MONTVILLE, SEALED BID, MONTVILLE MUNICIPAL MAIN HALL RENOVATION WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2024, 11:00 A.M". Any envelope that is received that is not properly marked causing it to be opened prior to the bid will be invalidated. Bids may be received before the hour designated in this office, if they are mailed or hand delivered in person. The Township of Montville will not be responsible for any bid that is sent by mail or other form of carrier which is lost or which arrives after the bid date and time. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills, or a duly executed bid bond in the amount of 10% of each bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00, must be deposited by the bidder together with a Certificate of Surety evidencing that he can obtain the required Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract. The successful bidder shall be required to deliver to the Township an executed Performance Bond and Payment Bond of the responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. In lieu of a Certificate of Surety, the bidder shall submit, at the bid opening, a certified check or cashier's check in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the bid.
