The Douglasville-Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority (the "Authority") is requesting quotes from qualified contractors for the patching, milling, leveling, and surface restoration of various streets, roads, and highways in Douglas County on an as-needed basis. Quotes are being requested for an annual contract for this work; however, no minimum quantity of work is guaranteed under the annual contract. Each specific road cut repair project under the annual contract will be set forth in a detailed written work order. The prices shall consist of furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment for the annual period from May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025. The Scope of Work includes the provision by the successful contractor of all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the road cut repairs requested by the Authority in a good and workmanlike manner and in accordance with any applicable local, state, or federal specifications or regulations. The Authority reserves the right to reject all quotes or any quote that is non-responsive or submitted by a nonresponsible contractor. The Authority further reserves the right to waive technicalities and informalities in the Request for Quotes or in any quote received, to evaluate quotes, to accept any quote(s) or portions of any quote(s), which in its opinion, may be in the best interest of the Authority. The Authority reserves the right to award the annual contract to one or more offeror(s) for the surface restoration of various streets, roads and highways in Douglas County, which in its opinion, may be in the best interest of the Authority. The Authority further reserves the right to add or delete line items from the annual contract after the contract has been awarded.
