Augusta Water (AW) is soliciting Sealed Bids to construct the Middle River Wastewater Treatment Plant Secondary Clarifier No. 3 Grout Topping Replacement project located in Augusta County, VA. The work generally consists of demolition of existing grout topping slab, surface preparation and installation of a grout topping slab in Secondary Clarifier No. 3, and application of a crystalline water proofing coating. Bidders must submit pre-qualification information to Wiley|Wilson's Project Manager, Aaron Tice, via e-mail (atice@wileywilson.com) by 5:00 PM, local time, on February 21, 2024. The Owner intends to provide a list of contractors qualified to bid on the Work via addendum on February 23, 2024. Bids must be submitted in a sealed opaque envelope and clearly marked on the outside with the company's name, current VA Contractor's license number and the notation: "ITB No. 2314: Middle River Wastewater Treatment Plant Secondary Clarifier No. 3 Repair". Bids shall be submitted to AW at 18 Government Center Lane, Verona, VA 24482 if hand delivered, or to P. O. Box 859 Verona, Virginia 24482-0859, if mailed. Bidders must be licensed as a Contractor in the Commonwealth of Virginia and registered with the State Corporation Commission.
