More specifically, the work includes: Dismantling of the existing iron and manganese removal system, including plumbing, electrical and instrumentation; Disposal of dismantled equipment (temporary); Modifications to the building envelope to remove existing equipment and bring in new equipment; Modification of the support slab and drilling of the existing slab, located above drinking water reserves, for the installation of new equipment; Relocation of a chemical tank (sodium hypochlorite) and electrical components associated with an existing metering pump unit; The supply, installation and commissioning of new drinking water filtration equipment (greensand filter) and its associated components; Connecting the control system of the new drinking water filtration equipment to the existing plant system; All electrical work related to the installation of the new drinking water filtration equipment; The installation of a new insulated, routed drainage pipe that connects to an underground pipe located outside the building;
