A. Project Name: CLC Lakeshore Campus ReRoofing - 33 N & 111 N Genesee B. Owner's Name: College of Lake County. C. Architect's Name: Legat Architects. D. The Project consists of the removal and replacement of of the existing roof system at 33n and 111n Genesee. The approx 19,265 SF. Included is an alternate bid for the overlay of the walkway bridge between the 2 buildings. E. As an overview, the base bid roofs will have a full removal of the existing roof system to the existing structural deck. This also includes all existing metal copings, trim etc. The new roofing system will consist of a vapor barrier, insulation, cover board and TPO membrane. New metal coping and trim will be installed. The alternate bid will be the Walkway Bridge will have a TPO overlay of the existing membrane Lakeshore Campuses 33 North Genesee Street, Waukegan, IL 60085 111 North Genesee Street, Waukegan, IL 60085 It is the intent of the College of Lake County (CLC) to enter into an Agreement with a Contractor for removal and replacement of approximately 20,000 square feet total (10,000 sq) at each building location, including all attendant accessories. The work will also include any necessary repair of the roof substrate at each of the two project locations. The roofing system should be designed for a minimum 20-year warranty. Consideration should be given to a fully adhered membrane roof that matches materiality and appearance of the roof at 1N Genesee, Waukegan, Illinois, which is also part of the College of Lake County Lakeshore Campus as identified herein.
