The Town of Remington, Virginia is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to develop the JM-15 corridor of the Town of Remington Comprehensive Revitalization Plan. Proposals are to include comprehensive analysis and conceptualization design services for the development of the JM-15 corridor from M.M Pierce Elementary to River Road. Corridor infrastructure and walkability enhancements shall include:detailed traffic and infrastructure planning, pedestrian safety and crosswalks, historical and aesthetic considerations, impact assessment on local businesses, cost benefit analysis, community engagement, and potential infrastructure integration with remaining phases of the revitalization plan as described in a completed feasibility study. Remington is seeking an engineering and planning firm capable of conceptualizing and implementing a comprehensive revitalization plan. This plan will intertwine Remington's history with cutting-edge solutions, creating a community that offers both a rich legacy and contemporary allure. The selected firm will collaborate with the Town of Remington and stakeholders. These include burying power lines, introducing traffic calming measures, and invigorating the business area. Our aim is to not only preserve the town's historical identity but to also yield tangible benefits such as improved infrastructure, a strengthened economy, and heightened community engagement.
