Project No: CP-0513 Reference Number 0000342376 *Engineer's Estimate For Total Project Cost: $1,439,186.50 Requesting Bids for Fiber Optic Interconnect Improvements as specified in the bid documents, specifications and exhibits. This project is supported in whole or in part by federal award number CML-5044(145), awarded to the City of Visalia by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Federal funds being utilized for project are Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program (CMAQ) funds. This project is subject to payment of prevailing wages, project registration with the DIR, monitoring by the Labor Commissioner and other requirements outlined in the City of Visalia Labor Compliance Manual. DBE goal for this project is 18%. The Notice to Proceed shall be issued in writing by the Purchasing Department. The Awarded Contractor shall begin work within -fifteen (15) days after receiving notice that the contract has been approved (Notice to Proceed) and shall diligently prosecute the same to final completion of the total project -Seventy(70) working days after that work begins (mobilization).
