Fa Proj Y400-5763-583, Niagara Co., Trail Improvements, Niagara River Shoreline Trail, City of Niagara Falls, North Tonawanda & Wheatfield This project will construct a multi-use trail that will link existing segments of the Niagara River Greenway Trail and Shoreline Trail in the City of Niagara Falls, Niagara County. The Project will also include wayfinding and interpretive signage. The trail will link several parks and recreational areas and different communities creating a safer pedestrian and trail connection as well as improve pedestrian and bicycle safety. Project Status The current status of the project is In Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Winter 2023/2024. Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2024. Construction is expected to be completed in Winter 2024/2025.
